Server lagging and rubberbanding

Last night the server was having major issues. To the point it became unplayable. So folks were suggesting it might have to do with the latest patch. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

When the server gets restarted for an update, the lag/rubberbanding seems to be there for a while. I have heard it has to do with sourcemod rebooting, but I don't remember who told me this or if this is true. I do know that this happens after every restart though, and it will eventually go away, although sometimes it does take an hour or two =/.

This is -]Papa[-. Just got off server and it was lagging worse than I've ever seen. Everybody was complaining about it and some were dropping because of it. Just thought I'd log my comment on it. I'm sure you guys are working on it as best you can.

It was due to the TF2 server being updated.

Let's get this fixed. It kills the game more than map changes or awp or fire or anything else. It should be priority #1

It does not appear to be a problem with the current patch in CS:GO because I'm not showing it on other servers.
