Recoil and Movement in CSGO
Hey guys,
There was an article on HLTV.org talking about j3di, one of the creator of zBlock for CSS. (HLTV.org - Forum)
With the arrival of CSGO, he decided to find the proper commands to tweak the "feeling" of movement and the recoil of guns. He posted two settings, where the latter one should be the "almost perfect" one.
Code:// Old sv_cheats 1 weapon_recoil_variance 0.5 view_punch_decay 20 weapon_recoil_vel_decay 5 weapon_recoil_decay2_lin 20 weapon_recoil_decay2_exp 7 weapon_recoil_suppression_factor .6 weapon_recoil_suppression_shots 2 weapon_recoil_view_punch_extra .05 weapon_reload_database say "Using Test Recoil Settings 1 [19/09/2012]" // New sv_cheats 1 weapon_recoil_variance 0.5 view_punch_decay 18 weapon_recoil_vel_decay 4.8 weapon_recoil_decay2_lin 19 weapon_recoil_decay2_exp 7 weapon_recoil_suppression_factor .6 weapon_recoil_suppression_shots 1 weapon_recoil_view_punch_extra .06 weapon_reload_database say "Using Test Recoil Settings 2 [22/09/2012]"
According to HLTV source again, Valve is considering using the values j3di is finding.
Just a thought..!

Re: Recoil and Movement in CSGO
Just no. I've tested these settings before and they're awful, it makes spraying way too easy. You can easily spray down a 5 man rush without a issue.
These settings will also not be implemented into CS:GO. j3di already has new settings that are slightly better than this set, but still too easy compared to the current.
