What's up with community servers? - Steam Users' Forums
Hmm..
Granted, it's one person but...I tend to agree with Hub. There's nothing wrong with the server, I'm guessing it's the settings.

Re: Time for better servers?
I have long suspected an issue with the server but I have only ever really seen a problem in CS:GO. Something I have noticed though is, the longer my session is connected to the server, the more laggy my experience is. Disconnecting and reconnecting will make it a little better. But map changes always end up with lag afterward. Strange, I've checked my client and I think I'm good to go, but I can't explain it.
Anyway I have about 20 years experience in network engineering, and general computer stuff, I've managed servers at LAN parties (not CS:GO though) and I also am an expert on server virtualization if that might be an issue.
PM me if you want my help, glad to donate some time troubleshooting if Yu want me.Rad liked this post
