Force 128 tick please!

Noticed you can set your rates from 10 to 128 tick client side on both servers.

Could we change the servers config to force 128 at all times? Or possibly just for the tournament server?

Also, sv_minrate is 10000 which is very, very low.

I think Atlanta (CSGO East) is 128 tick all the time... I *think* I remember Enf setting the Dallas server to 128 as well.

That is true. But sammich is talking about forcing clients to have their rates set to 128.

Yes, exactly. I have seen far too many people setting their rates below 80000 (cs:go standard atm), and if the server is set at 128, and can give 128 tick rate to each player in a full 22player match. So why not force it so people don't set it low, which is a known form of cheating. Try and shoot at someone with 10000 rate and see why. If sv rates can stay the same when 128 tick is forced, we should keep it that way. Unless servers come under too much load with it forced.

I'd be fine with forcing the updaterate and rate...cmdrate should allow for some adjustment..we shouldn't be forcing it to 128 because alot people can't achieve that frame rate.
