Oh M4 Silenced...How I've Missed You

It's back!!! New update today with some Arms Deal thingy. Think you have to purchase something for all the new weapons, but it looks like everyone gets the M4 Silenced and the USP Silenced. You have to go into your inventory and make sure you replace them with their counter-parts.

We could try uninstalling SM....dunno if it'll make the server work. Worth a shot though.

No, it's not. This thread is about the M4 silenced and the new gun packs. This thread is not about fixing the TPG server or any suggestions that would fix it. Mod you can lock this now since Guyver is just going to keep going on and on.

We are aware that the servers are having issues as that has already been reported in the proper place. But lets keep this thread about the features of the update itself.

Also, as Blonde stated this update hasn't been discussed here and in fact only just happened yesterday. Hardly qualifies as old news.

Back to the topic at hand, we have the USP and the M4A1, which can be configured to replace the P2000 and M4A4 respectively. What I have gathered about the differences:

USP:
+ reduction in recoil
+ increased fire rate
+ no tracers

- 1 less bullet per magazine
- only two extra magazines (although I think this was unintentional).

M4A1:
+ reduction in recoil
+ greater damage over distance
+ no tracers
+ $200 cheaper

- 10 fewer bullets per magazine
- only two spare magazines (again, I think this is a bug).

USP seems like an upgrade from P2000, while the two M4s seem like they'd each be more effective in different scenarios. Maybe if I am playing B on Dust2 I need the extra bullets to stop a rush, but on A site I could use the more dmg and lower recoil for the greater distances. Still need more time with them to know for sure though.
