    ESL One Cologne

So did anyone else watch it? What did you think? Play the Pick 'Em Challenge?

I watched as much as I could.

Out of the group matches, the Cloud9 ones were the most exciting, with two comebacks to end up winning their group.

I thought NiP looked really weak early on, but Get_Right and f0rest really came alive in the playoffs. Not to mention friberg with the huge clutch plays.

Best series was the NiP vs. Cloud 9 definitely. Two 16-14 games.

Cbble was played way too many times, would liked to have seen more Cache. Poor iBuyPower had to play cbble twice.

Got 60 points in the Pick 'Em. Missed two matches on each of the first two days (iBP and HR), then only got half of the playoff games correct.

Hopefully next major sees either Tuscan, updated Train, or Season instead of Cbble.

    Re: ESL One Cologne

I watched quite a lot of it. I'm really pleased to see that CS:GO production levels are finally catching up with other games such as Starcraft II and Dota. The casting was top notch throughout the entire event, and I found the camera work to be exceptionally good, showing off a lot of the action every single round.

I agree with you on the C9 vs NIP match, that was such a nail biter! I haven't really played CSGO much in recent months, and am not familiar with the new maps, but it seemed that most teams did not have a really solid grasp of them yet, so I think it was too early for them to be used in a major tournament like this.

    Overall, a great event
    I miss you guys....-tczyl2-png

Great highlight video of Cloud9 bringing it to the euros on their soil:
