When at a long distance, looking at a stationary target, I agree the kills are easy, but anyone can make those shots. It's the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th kills that make a good AWPer. Hear all the time people saying that AWP is too easy to use since 90% of the time it's a one shot kill. Then they get rushed by three enemy players and complain that they wish they were using a rifle.



Highlights are the 1 v ( ) situations. Good AWPers make it look easy.

If players using an AWP are getting tagged after their first miss then they probably didn't position themselves properly to get to cover immediately following the miss. If you aren't corner peaking with an AWP 99% of the time, then you are doing something wrong. Rarely should you be standing in an open viewpoint of the enemy.

AWP is the most satisfying gun in CS imo. Stringing together those 2-5 kills gives me a hard on. Personal tip: work on no-scoping when enemies are within 10 feet. The challenge is obviously that you don't have a crosshair, but it's not hard to envision it right in the center of your screen. Place the center of your screen on your enemy, be standing still (I tend to crouch) and go for it. Plenty of people will tell you I fail quite often when no-scoping, but there are also the other times when I kill those three rushing enemies with three no scope shots. I rather no scope at close range than scope-in and try to adjust my aim given the zoomed scope. It can put you in a bind sometimes.

Lmao I am by no means an actual Global Elite skill level. There are four other teammates that more often than not do their part and help get the win. As they say, you're only as strong as your weakest link. CS:GO 5v5 is no different.

Tape or something physically on the monitor if that's what you're going for, be very careful about dotting your screen with scripts; certain TPGers who are no longer with the community faced VAC ban for doing exactly that (supposedly)

Then you have a dot on your screen the whole game that is an eye soar, at least for me it is. I've got the no scope down pretty well without any marker help. Much more satisfying knowing you aren't cheating yourself too.
