csgo is the bullshittiest of bullshittiest games. I was MG2, on a 5 game win-streak about to rank up, then I lose 1 match (was top fragging hella-hard) and insta-deranked. wth? won a couple, lost a couple, and then derank again.

I went from MG2 to Nova 4 in the span of like 4 or 5 matches. Unfreakingbelievable.

Basically, everyone had artificially higher ranks than they should have so Valve adjusted the system.

I guess you're right - pretty much everyone on my friends list got wrecked this week. I deranked 3 times, most of my badge friends are ak1 or ak2 now. Gonna be one helluva grind to rank up now (though I understand, and that's probably how it should be)

Yeah and I thought I was doing something when I got to a badge...NOPE
