Re: Hackers4Life
MMR is your matchmaking ranking. It's generally a hidden score that is used to match you with opponents of appropriate skill. In a game like league, if you win consecutively your MMR will actually be higher than your stated rank, pairing you with people that are technically higher rated, but rewarding you more heavily if you continue to win. If your MMR is high, when you win a game you may gain 25 MMR, but if you lose, you may only lose 12 points. This allows players that are actually better than their opponents to climb quickly, without being forced to grind out lots of matches in order to advance.

Re: Hackers4Life
The problem here is the guys no rank and being placed this high level, He might not have used that account for a few months as he suspected it would have been banned lost his rank and when he did play again he got placed at a similar level he used to be at which is around your level. The rank system is very confusing to CS:GO i cant find one legit site where they have cracked how it works you could go on a 20 game win streak lose one game and de-rank or you could win 20 in a row and not rank up atall. But this guys blatantly hacking as you can tell, The only way valve can solve this is by putting the game back up to $30 or so to stop people making new account to hack with all the time. To me CS:GO is easily worth $30 and im sure new people who buy the game would agree i have nearly 300 hours in right now and i still find it as good as i did when i first started playing it. Although this will never happen and hacking will continue to happen regularly and is a total shame as it spoils the fun

I would like to think that there would be less smurf accounts but your probably right Guyver. $30 is still cheap enough for a person who gets VAC banned to scoope up another copy.
But making the game dirt cheap...it's just promoting a hacker environment. "Oh let me hack on this account because ive got 10 others from the last steam sale." I mean there isnt even a restriction on how many you can have?
