Thread: Reinstate CS,GO server

I have talked to may OG players from back in the day. Some that I spoke to were former High Admins and starters of the original TTP members. We are wanting to know what we need todo to get 1 server reinstated. How many members do I need to get in order for the server to become active again. Basically what do I need to do to get our Team Player server back and put respect back into the game!

Some other the greatest years of my life revolved around CS. Ive met alot of long time friends. I would love to get the server back up and going. I miss the true team play and higher standards we had and enforced. CS at one point in time was the back bone and the brain of "TTP" now known as TPG. So please anyone willing to support the server being reinstated please speak up and lets see if we can bring to love of the game and true team play love back to the game..

Alright Guch you are gonna have to stop blowing up the recent posts on the left I am on board to get another TPG CSGO server up. Would be nice to have a good community to play CS with again.

As I recall, it's as simple as turning the server back on...I can turn the DoD:S server back on whenever I need to...

I have been talking with many players that would like to get the GO server back up and going. Im just needing to find out what needs to be done todo so. Just figured Id get things started here to find out what needs to be done.

People were bitching about tick rates and shit with our hosted CSGO server. So we spent money month after month to get an NFO hosted CSGO server that sat empty month after month. Matchmaking killed the hosted CSGO servers.

Make a real case for putting in a CSGO server and we'll think about throwing up an instance on our new hardware. But we aren't likely to pay for one.

Hook it up I'm down.

Im waiting for reply's from other members, once I get there feed back, Ill make my case. But, what would it cost monthly to have 1 server. I agree with the cost of things for dead servers. 1 server running all maps should be all thats needed.

Another issue is that I don't know if we have anyone left that knows how to config a source server.

If someone gave me a run down I could do so.

I would play more csgo if we got it going again. But I agree it will be difficult with the matchmaking system
