Definitely do this. Make sure its in team chat though, all chat doesn't work for messaging admins.
    We can do better.

Re: Ball being drop on having a balance game

i don't think there's a reason to be hard on mr. rager, who's only trying to help.

in magus's example i'm not saying more couldn't have been done, and/or sooner, but balancing is an art, not a science and sometimes things don't go as planned. switches were made i believe and the t team played more than several rounds down a player or two. trigger did got autoe'd because t's were down 2 or more and even still, it was lopsided affair. i'm pretty sure i know why. it's the same thing i've harped on for years, and the very same thing i said the last time i got beat as a ct in the sewers... what just yesterday i think? here's the universal item that needs to be repeated over and over again until a team that's failling at it gets it:

tell them to stop spending all their cash on rifles without flashes and nades when they're getting rolled you tossers!

you want to beat a rushing team in 10v10 play, you do it with nades and flashes. you want to be a rushing team in 10v10, you do it with nades and flashes.

    think about this logically.

losing a save round, only to blow the cash save by sacrificing a loss on a $3,400 rifle so you can rush into, or defend against flashes works about 0-2/10 times, unless your lucky enough to have some of those players that just dominates with a smidgeon of help. i bet those ss's would prove my point if we could see what was on ct's hips every round... especially since i don't think a flash was thrown my way more than once or twice that map (by magus no doubt). when i'm on a losing team, it's the first thing i look for after ensuring people are following the call.

item #2 that needs to get in peoples heads is that communication isn't important around here, it's essential. especially when you're getting rolled. it's funny to hear an individual(s) complain about how they can't hear something, like footsteps, when the much larger issue is they're not listening to their own team and/or there's no internal communcation. talk about dichotomy.

you can absolutely play 10v10 without communication, but don't expect to win much.

it sucks to be on a team that's getting destroyed. i've been there and i get that. but sometimes you have to man up and realize when losses are coming from things that are within your control, not out of your control. those 2 tips make for many a loss and perceived imbalance.

finally, teams aren't balanced to scores necessarily, scores are just one indication of the distribution of skillsets in a particular team/match. balance is to teams. therefore you will have, from time to time, scores that are lopsided even though skillsets aren't. this is due to several factors, including the natural odds of that event, and issues outside of shooting skill, like money management, leadership, map factors, etc.

in other words, the game, and the unkown outcomes that allow us to play the game to begin with.
