Question on if you can get kicked for this
I know I stir up some drama a couple days ago on balance but that wasn't my intention. Thread got hijack and I couldn't respond befere it got locked. I'm not here to start anything again but just want an official answer to my question.
So last night my ping kind of jump a little bit from mid 60s to lower 100s (mostly stayed 100-118 with a few spikes). I wasn't porting / warping around (by which Im talking about I go from point A to B and you dont see me in between) but I would stutter once in awhile when mass gun fire would start. I was told by admin (in admin talk) that I had "One round to fix it", from that I took it that if I couldn't do something about these minor stutters that I would be kicked. So instead of arguing with the admin I just left and now I'm here to seek the official answer to, can you get kick for this or not? If so are we gonna see this get enforce more often? Reason I ask is because while playing here for a long time I've prob never seen a person be ask to fix his/her lag issue when it is minor, I've seen people ask to fix their rate but nothing that resulted in telling them they have one round to do it and leaving it as an open ended threat.

This. I wasn't there, so I can't say how severe it was, but usually with a 120 or lower ping it's not a problem unless there is another issue. Since I have played tons of hours with you I doubt there is/was another issue. That being said if your ping, or something else, are making it virtually impossible to shoot you then yes, an admin can kick you.

Re: Question on if you can get kicked for this
I too have seen many instances of people being told to fix their ping or leave. Myself included. I heard it A LOT when I first joined TPG because I was using tethering to my cell phone with a 90ms ping that warped for some people. I got told by Ira once to leave less than 2wks ago because my ping was like 300. I didn't know why either until I realized I had a lot of traffic going to a new NAS I was configuring that was starting to stream torrents!

Re: Question on if you can get kicked for this
nah it wasn't packet loss, it was my connection being a little crappy during that time but not enough to warp me. People was still able to hs me as I jump across open area or tried to take cover. In the past I've had ping in the 140s before and had no complaint (that case involved people uploading while I play) but found this situation odd since it was low. Since I already got my answer you can go ahead and lock it.
