Idk, I'm left handed and I've always found manipulating the keyboard with my left hand to be advantageous.

For me, it doesn't make sense why WASD, why not ESDF (for those used to WASD)? Why move from the HOME keys of ASDF? I'm a touch typist & can type a lot of words/min. When I set my hands on the keys, they go to ASDF. Maybe someone didn't like the lil indicator of the F on their precious lil girly hand when that config was created? I like the reassurance of the tactile indicator on F/J.

Just out of curiosity which finger do you use to reload with?

When I have my hands on the arrow key and try to use my middle finger (I assume you use that for the up/down key?) I cannot keep my ring/pointer fingers on the left/right arrow keys without drastically changing their position. If I use my ring finger I can keep my middle/pointer fingers on up/right arrow keys, but it's difficult to keep my pinky finger all the way down on ctrl while doing that.

It's nice having left shift be the crouch key. Next to "W" it's the most used so it's nice to have a nice large key to push since you're using your least able finger to push it. It's easiest to do that using WASD.

Hmmm, makes sense.

I use my left shift for alt +voicerecord so I can take my hands off my mouse.
