Thread: Fun Times!(Oh i guess not)

Well lets start with the basics, ive played in your server twice. the first time the regulars/admins were very friendly and welcoming, so im assuming this was just a bad batch, but it IS something to look into. This being said i want to explain a little in my first experience, i did spec for cash, no one called strats, etc. so i suppose i just didnt quite get the motd the first time i read it for that(perhaps rewording? "if someone is calling strats you must follow them or risk slay kick etc.) anyway first time i was here i got no warnings for anything, no reprimands etc. had a good time(this is generally considered the idea of a game). Now onto the second, as i have no voice recording i wont be able to get word for word what went on but i will try to get it as best i can. i also have all the pertinent chat log. Also before you lock this for wrong forum, i am not asking for an unban, im done with the server. this is more of a call out to perhaps get something done about what i consider an abusive situation that is going on. maybe you agree maybe you dont, never the less i will make the attempt.

--The admin (forget his name) and person who was calling the plays (keep in mind this is the first map of i think 10 or so that i had played where someone was doing this) ordered a rush, i typed that out and went to do it, got slayed for it. Now he is not technically in the wrong, but a warning would have been nice considering to that point i had done nothing against rules. Also you will see after it i did review the motd to ensure i wouldnt break other rules.

--our admin/caller didnt call strats for this round, several of us were asking, i got picked at boxs tside on mill. when he did get back he asked where the guy was, i responded. unfortunately even i can only type so fast. but then i get in trouble for being afk/typing at start of round with the bomb because the admin asked a question and i answered it.(isnt their a note in the motd about answering admins). to top this i did hear the call, did purchase from spawn, and was with the rest of the group less than 10 seconds late. which as the bomb you tend to want to be in the rear of the group for a number of reasons. the rest of the bottom of that is just showing that yes i do try to be a asset to my team.

--and the end. so few things to point out. from the top 2 lines you see me apologizing for a team flash, i was going to flash bomb site B again for the team but my mouse button lost contact so the flash "dropped" (i already had it cocked back). Flashing myself and 5-6 of our team. A mistake, but not one that anyone bitched at me for(the flash itself). Now once again i have bomb at spawn, and i was typing that message when dead, hit enter when we spawned so no time wasted. the vote came up and i took a few seconds to read over the options before voting, while listening to the call. this time i was under 10 seconds behind the team when someone bitched that i was afk, then saw me moving and even said oh never mind. the next thing i know im banned. and by behind my team i mean not even half of them had made it to stairs to lower or stairs to mid yet. so what 5 seconds behind? if that? To say that the ban is frivolous is a understatement. I never showed disrespect, argued etc. i communicated as best i could with a keyboard, and did my best to play with the team ( other then my one attempt at going rouge). So if im getting banned for this...what are others getting banned for? I'm sorry but in my opinion, and i am someone who has run several large clans(were talking 15+servers with good pop), you have some admins that are out of control. At some point i believe this can and will destroy the server atmosphere(if it hasnt already, im too new of a player to say either way) and possibly the clan. Since a number of players including admins were kind and gregarious the first time i played i figured i should take the time too try and point these things out.

p.s.s. Its a lark on the fact that posts for unbans shouldnt have l337 in them. since this was talking about that but not actually for that i thought it would be funny. yeah i know its not funny if you have to explain it.
