I never said (and if i did, let me correct myself) seasoned and skilled players can do what ever they want .

The call is open to their interpretation to determine their own role within the call so long as their role benefits the team (who should be notified if their assumed role modestly alters /differs from the call, e.g. going mid to B on a straight B call).

Our 'not following the call' rules still apply: a player going A when the call is B, is not following the call. But a player who notifies the team that they are going Mid to B, on a B call is fine (unless the caller, for some reason is against it (e.g. its a B fake, or A is faking while plp are hiding in B tunnels, etc)

I meant "do what they want" in regards to subtly avoiding actually following the call. Going to the opposite site is not in the context of baiting and so I was not discussing it.
    We can do better.

Stopping in a choke point to get picks while the rest of your team tries to rush around you? I can't count how many times I have been killed because of a teammate doing this. Especially during rushes to B in de_contra. The tunnels outside B in de_dust2 have a little more room to maneuver but stopping there for picks can still impede your teammates. Maybe this role should be taken by the last person in the rush and the caller should designate that.

Looks defined well enough for me. Baiting is allowing a teammate to take a site/enter a room by themselves. They will most likely get killed by the defenders who have a superior advantage. It helps the baiter to let their teammate run in and die by letting them see where the defenders have posted themselves up or so that the baited can tell the baiter where they are posted up. It cuts down the defender's advantage a good deal when they're no longer hidden. In play it's a good strategy that is used in competitive play a lot, however doing it in a pub where no one really cares and everyone's just trying to have some fun makes you a dick lol.

baiting is letting someone else die for you, when you should be dying for them.
