I just don't understand........why would you play any different in a match or in a "pub"........I mean, yeah, it's easier to call out strategies to people you know are listening (your clan), but that doesn't mean that new connections, and our regulars are unwilling to do the same.

But hey, the guys at TEXAS PAIN were part of me and sjt's inspiration to get all this shit started here. They have bots, their admins are children, or at least childish, they have bots, and they punish people trying to get the team going.

Just out of curiousity...I followed the link you provided there, Bigdog, above that reply you have another reply where you linked what looks like a server tracker of sorts.

So, two questions.

1. Does that server you were talking about even exist anymore? (My guess would be...probably not, they probably had their heyday and then outgrew it and have probably migrated here, albeit with shut mouths about where they came from.)

2. With regards to the link you provided, my guess would be that, with all the server changes just in the last year alone, that link is somewhat out of date, so, anyway you can update our server information in that link or a new one to show the same information with updated server address information?



My posts may have an acidic taste to them, but I keep returning here because TexasTeamPlayers let me speak my mind, as distasteful or arrogant as it may seem, without persecution. I even have one or two people who agree with me from time to time. I keep returning to BF2 when TTP is empty, only to be stuck having to go to other servers (which lasts for all of about 3 minutes, including loading times) and realize that they all suck ass, s t i l l.

TexasTeamPlayers set the standards, live the standards and maintain the standards not only in online gaming, but in their forums as well. Having read numerous unban requests, it becomes abundantly obvious that the people who come in here to request an unban, only to remain banned, came in here expecting to remain banned, which, of course, colors their unban request unfavorably, and then they want to complain about TTP not being fair and impartial. Please.

I may be a crotchety, old man. But. That doesn't mean that I don't still love TTP, most of it's members, some of it's guests, like my own family. These forums are the only forums that I care to visit, ever, and sometimes leave evidence of my passing.

Long live TexasTeamPlayers.com, and long live Bigdog and others, who created it, molded it and shaped it into what it is today.
