That was what I was going to say here :nodding: Amazingly, I paid attention in this history lesson when we were discussing Australian history and why the British sent their convicts over etc.

I wasn't aware they were used in Aussie, unless you're thinking about the Tampa Incident, where a group of illegal immigrants were picked up by a Norwegian container ship after the immigrants' boat sunk. The Aussie Navy boarded the Tampa a few times, and refused it entry to Australian waters. Most of the refugees ended up here eventually.

Personally, I think it's unfair. You should at least give the prisoners a chance to escape. How can they tunnel their ways out now?*

Also, I think the whole justice system in the UK needs to be looked at. The last time prison ships were used, people were getting 10-15 years for stealing single handkerchiefs, or loaves of bread.

*(If you can pick the reference for that, you'll be in for a big prize)

Its a good idea actually.. But there are some bad things about it...
Where would it be?
What if the prisoners would take over?
and some other things..

I suppose it's a good answer to the overcrowding in prisons. No difference really it's just a boat.

It's an old consept actually, ya take a ship that's not really usefull for anything and instead of scrapping it or making a reef with it ya stuff you're unwanted into it..
