Good point ryder...

And I've been a few teams that made no attempt to play as a "team", or use there mics, etc., and that can force you to change your strategy from being "offensive" to "defensive" really quickly whether T or CT, and I know most everyone on here knows what I'm talking about... Fortunately this hasn't happened too much on this server because most players I often play with use there mics and communicate which is key.

Ya, i know what u talkin bout Bravo...It happens when new guys get on the server and dont know how we play....BUt what ticks me off is when, i get in the game...and all these guys ive never seen before are doing their own thing....So, i get on the mic and start calling some shots....Then some smart ass starts talking shit like, "stfu rambo" or "who does this beaner think he is?"....and then i try and votekick the prick, and im the only one that votes, or maybe two other guys do.....this is when i wish i had admin powers, to actually be able to switch them to the other team or something....but i have no choice but to bite my tounge and do my own thing.....ARGH!!!!

there really should never be a time that you settle for being defensive, and just give up on pushing your teammates to work together and win.

yes, it's tempting to just say "forget these guys, I'm going for my KD".....but that's the easy way out of team play. We could make the server private, and only have people come in that we say are real deal TTP qualified...and then wouldn't ever have to worry about stupid players sabotaging the team.....but what fun is that? Then we'd never get any new teamplayers.

the server is here to finally stand up for those that demand their team to work as a unit. The server is here to back you up, when you get ridiculed and told to stfu. The server is here to slay, kick, and ban anyone that has a problem with following the orders of the team's established leader, without justifying such disobedience.

Meaning.....when you get put on a team full of clan-sissies and leet pwners, who just want to awp in the back, and wait for you to do everything......start getting on their ass. PURPOSELY get them to comment on how they don't care about the team, how they are only here for their personal friends or clan mates, or how they don't give a damn about team play.

As we all know, that's a death sentence on the server. Instant slays and beratement by the admin in charge.

Get them to say it.....and an admin will punish them. No admins watching? Log it, copy it, paste it here, and they'll get theirs. Trust me.

There is no excuse for any real teamplayer to tolerate even 1 round of their team pussing out and looking out for their personal safety, and not the objective.

I've never been in a position where I would just give up and be defensive, selling out the objective. Even before we had this server. It's a constant battle (one that gets me banned a lot). but now that the "getting banned for promoting teamplay" factor has been removed, thankfully to TTP's existence, the fight can finally be won.

It's been won on dozens of players. I've heard it 100's of times on the server....."holy shit....these guys are coordinated". and "this is the best public team I've ever been on". And every time we hear something like that, we know we're going to pick up another regular or two. Regulars that we WANT to stick around.

yea, i know what ur saying bd...but at the time there was no admin on for a shit load of rounds....and all but maybe two guys on my team actually wanted to be team players...and i had like four guys talkin trash and spamming the mic....usaually when i play on weekdays, i log on @ about 5:15 or so, right after work...and i usually dont see any admins till later...and I try to play till at least 10...
