@Nova:
Sorry, I wasn't actually singling out what you had said, it was more of a general question while we were on the topic of freeing people from Hunters. My post had more to do Kalec's post, but yours was readily available to quote.
I do understand why you would want to keep the Hunter in one place and shoot it while it is invincible. The overall complaint is with people who ONLY melee the Hunter off and don't follow it up with a kill.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Good list for the most part. I think the mic thing is quite necessary for a good game but for the sake of not derailing the thread, I'll continue forward in the thread in the Rant section.
As for 8 and 6, I think there are definitely exceptions to this rule, specifically number 6, so long as you follow 8.
To clarify - often if my team is up against a good team, people who watch rooftops and are ready for a 25 damage pounce, my team will have a smoker stand on the opposite building of me, smoke a survivor and then once the survivor gets to the smoker, I'll pounce that survivor for 25 damage. And if you do it soon enough, sometimes the smoker won't have the longer reload timer.
I think it's a case by case sort of rule - some times it's better for the hunter to steal the kill, so the smoker can go for another important pull (like going across the roof in NM3)

Pretty solid list. But like many people, I disagree with 4. It's situational. Nothing pissed me off than we I'm sitting there, smokered or huntered, and some idiot stands there trying to shoot the infected (often your aim sucks if your being hit by commons) and I'm like, if you just melee'd, I wouldn't have taken 15 - 20 damage.
I also think number 6 is situational. I think that if you're far enough away or the person being smoked is on a different level, either above or below, then the hunter should take over. The reason being is that a hunter can do more damage quicker than a smoker can, it could mean the difference between incapped and yellow.
