In all honesty, L4D never had any eerieness. IDK where in the game did you find yourself in a position where things were creepy and you were freaked out. Never happened here.

Sunlight is just a HUGE step forward for realism. There eventually had to be a map during the day. It makes the most sense for people to be the most active. Everything happens during the day. Hell, most zombie/infected movies are set during the day when all the action happens.

Pff I'm far from macho. FAR from macho.

I just had to make my way through to the safe room as fast a possible so I can Survive.
Its good to be goal oriented and focused sometimes.

Of course that doesn't help much when you run straight ahead into a Tank...

Because you know what's coming up next in L4D, and even if you don't, you know what's gonna attack you. You usually don't in Fallout 3 due to it's gigantic map size.

But I don't really care if it's not scary or it is, I just want to enjoy playing it and I don't want it to be repetitive and boring, and L4D2 looks like it isn't. That's the thing; I always knew wtf was coming in L4D yet it still had amazing replay value.
