Well put spaz, leading a team can be hard at times. And there is now way to get ppl to listen to you if they dont want to period. a lot of times the way you get rid of them is keeping making calls. They'll get tired of losing, get pissed at the server and disconnect. Only suggestion i can make would be just have paitence, we've all lead teams and have been the first to die when the team watched, but sooner or later something will change, whether it be team swap or admin wrath. I think that you guys are both excellent leaders just need to remember that everyone is different and just because something works for you doesnt mean itll definitely work for others.

    Re: Neglecting the primary...

I'll say this. Patience is key in leading a team or teaching anyone to be a team member. As far as getting someone good it takes more patience than you will know. I have hour upon hours invested in many players that aren't allowed to play here but that's besides the point. Hell I even mentored ole Negotiator when he was a part of bd. I saw raw talent and I recruited him and many others in bd. Keiron and others. Mainly the footprints you leave behind are a way for others to learn. Frustration is nothing a beer can't handle, if your team aint listening to you then back off for a round or so and assess the situation. Go spec to see what exactly is goin on and firmly raise your voice and take charge. People will listen, if you can get two people on your team to listen to you then you can get 4. If you can get 4 then you can get 8. It's all a matter of being persistent and patient. Very well said hocus. As far as I know spaz if your on the team I'm on I'll listen and follow you anywhere you say that goes for anyone else who steps up to bat. I expect the same. But to be a good leader you must first be a good follower. Remember that.

Agreed. I'm happy to follow you, or anyone else that is leading, as well. I'm mainly speaking of the times when it seems no matter what I do I just can't get the team involved. This is the exception rather than the rule, and happens mostly when there are just a bunch of unknowns on.

    Re: Neglecting the primary...

Well....to add to Spaz's post....I have only played on the top 5 like 5 times and alot of the times there are no admins on and ALOT of new players. I agree that "busting balls" goes along way but when there is no admin to punish repetetive offenses the "busting balls" just seems to lead to an overall disruption of gameplay with alot of those new players (that we would like to have as regs) getting tired of hearing the bickering back and fourth. Now the player getting his balls busted....who cares let him go if he can't get with the program.....but the others that are trying to play and get on with it...they may get discouraged having to put up with it until said problem leaves. Mabey you guys could impliment an admin rotation or dedicated admins to police the server...ie. an admin that is responsable for that server (if no others are on) for a time period then that position swaps to another admin and so on.....mabey time slots since alot of admins (and regs) generally play at the same times when they play...early, mid, and late. Just a thought

And to add to Hero's post.. It makes sense that with another server there might be a need for more admins as well. Maybe they're spread too thin?

    Re: Neglecting the primary...

i gotta disagree with ya spaz, ive been playing quite a bit in these last couple days, but it doesnt seem like the admins are being spread too thin. i get kicked outta the primary server for reserved slots n stuff so ill join the top5 and it seems like there is an admin in there too even if there is only 5-10 ppl in it. the only time ive noticed when there seems to be a lack of presence is early mornings or like right before school gets out
