skins?

anyone have any suggestions for good realistic skins for just about every weapon?

Its all about personal preference. However if you dont have a solid comp, you may see an FPS hit because CS requirements are based on default texture sound etc..... For instance some custom textures may be a higher resolution, and be harder for your GPU to display. If you have a descent graphics card though you should be good.

Another thing is that online leagues require that you use default

I suggest not getting that many skins... They were making me time out all the time and I only had like 20mb of skins.

speaking of skins, i downloaded some and i don't like em anymore......i removed all the files completely from my pc yet they are still used in the game, any idea how to get the originals back?

If you deleted the skin files from your c-strike folder, then your normal skins should restore the next time you start up CS.

HEY! to remove skins, go into

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\account name\counter-strike source

inside there you'll find your cstrike folder, I know it sounds risky, but just delete it, everything will return to normal, as if you just bought cs. (I think favorite servers are still kept though). You'll notice lag for awhile, that's becuase all the caches are gone, in other words, the first tiem you buy an ak the game will lag for a second because your computer's never seen it before, as is your first ever shot with an ak etc. Also you'll have to re-download teh sound files for ttp but that doesn't take long
