*determine type of zombie: Demonic (Evil Dead), Biological (Resident Evil), Radioactive (original Dawn of the Dead), and fast or slow?
*Determine zombies' weaknesses and strengths (will a hole in the lung cause it to fill with blood and suffocate the zombie? Are they afraid of fire? Can they follow your scent day or night?
*Costco (great idea guys)
*two child-sized aluminum baseball bats (can be swung one-handed quite effectively and minimize blood splatter
*Keep a large knife, a couple small knives, and a crowbar on me at all times.
*Powerful, large caliber revovlver with hollow-tip bullets
*Hunting rifle
*General survival gear (binoculars, small tent, rope, waterproof matches, etc.)
*Map of the city and phone book to identify locations of interest
*full police riot gear
*Assault rifle with selector switch, cleaning kit for it.
*ammo for all weapons, water, and canned/dehyrated food obviously
*Trash a dealership to find keys to cars on lot
*bicycles (no gas required, nimble, faster than running zombie, quiet)
*After riding out the worst by staying put head somewhere quite cold (north, mountains or both) along rail lines (most have maintenance roads running alongside though getting a train moving would be great since they are much harder to stop and can carry 1 ton about 450 miles on 1 gallon of diesel but be prepared to bail off if something comes up like a broke bridge or a stalled train...). Zombies will freeze to death at some point.
*Raise horses and dogs like the man said.
*Be extremely wary of other people because if there ever was a time when only the strong survive, it's Zombie Apocalypse.
Note: worst zombie ever: I am Legend + 28 Days Later. It's fast, extremely strong, smart, social/communicative/organized, can climb like a freaking monkey, and is ridiculously infectious especially through projectile vomit.

I want to get into full detail about my zombie plan:
To Begin, straightforward, lets just say i was immune to said disease and where i was living, there so happened to be 3 other people who were also immune to said disease. If i was to start my zombie plan at home, i would get the wood axe and probably the chainsaw from my shed, and take some knives that my brother has collected (including this star trek weapon based off a klingon sword) just in case. I would also get my backpack and stock up on food and water, find those 3 immune people (L4D intuition) and bring them with me to get some actual guns at a Fred Meyers just 2 miles away from here (i walk there like almost every day, so it isn't too far of a walk). Lets say that the zombies act like the Zombieland zombies (vulnerable to headshots, fire, can smell the scent of uninfected people, have excellent stamina), so in that case, i would grab a 12-guage shotgun with a muzzle knob that helps with range and stopping power, and provide my survivor mates with some guns and ammo too. Next, we would try to find a working car (let me correct that, if my parents were dead and i took their keys, i would use the car to head straight up there myself.) and I would drive us up to a nearby costco (i'm really interested by the costco idea) and once we got there, I would be joining all of you guys to a life of food, fun, and ZOMBEHS!

I REALLY recommend you all read the Zombie Survival Guide, if you ever going to think of a Zombie Plan.
By the way, a Convinience store is the worst place to hold out... Think that when the infection hits you aren't going to be the lone survivor, there will be hungry angry mobs first... WITH GUNS!I wanted you to know, that by reading this signature you have wasted approximately 6.235 seconds of your life.

I would get a titanium crowbar, A bolt-action rifle, and a Deagle regarding weapons.
I'd scavenge various food items from the grocery stores and convenience stores a few miles away. if its just me,myself, and I; I would stick to nonperishables because its pretty damn impossible for one guy to haul enough water to fill a bathtub for food that needs to be refridgerated. Fortunately, my house has the kind of attic with the fold-in stairs. once i've got a good amount of food and water along with a few peeping holes to see what its like out there, i can make myself rather comfortableParlock: I'm sorry, I'm an idiot who can't read XD.Teenracer6: I hate salt, it's too salty.Parlock: Taking in TP's sweet, sweet buttsweat didn't make me gag
