I'm excited about the new DLC but I'm struggling with the fact that both L4D1 and L4D 2 are recieving the same components. I thought that the new infected and melee were unable to be downloaded to L4D1. Now it can be?!? Also, why should I keep L4D1 if the originial campaigns will be added to L4D2? I'm asking the faithful what they think? And will L4D 1 soon be left for dead.

L4D1 is not getting any of the L4D2 items. All it's getting is the new campaign. It will still be the same five weapons and four specials game as you've come to know it.

And it's not known if all of L4D1's campaigns are coming to L4D2. Right now it's just NM.

To my knowledge on L4D1, The Sacrifice will be the only campaign that will receive what L4D2 has (ie: new infected, melee weapons, etc). I also understand that the original campaign being brought over to L4D2, No Mercy, will be playable by the original survivors with the new infected. Not sure if the others will eventually be moved to l4d2, but, should all the campaigns be moved over, its worth keeping the original if you wanna play without the new SI.

Also have heard rumors of more DLC coming for both games, which is believable as this time last year when we got CC so many people assumed this was going to be the end of DLC for l4d1 and we've all been proven wrong.

I prefer the first game to the second anyway, and I don't have the second game either. So the sacrifice will be a nice addition for the first game in my opinion.

i really do hope they add the new SI and weapons/melees into l4d1 with the sacrifice, i mean since they are putting in no mercy and the l4d1 survivors over into the second who is going to bother downloading it to the first game?? Im hoping they can at least put the new infected into l4d1(like, the entire game if possible at least) with the sacrifice cause if not then i doint think people are going to waste their money with the first =/

just wanted to say that I downloaded both and I really wish I hadn't of got it for L4D1.. no one plays it anymore (hell I hardly play it) and it's JUST the new map? but without the added L4D2 stuff... bleh.. waste of points! Wish I could take them back and get minerva's den for Bioshock 2 instead lol.

1200 for both. Damn I was hoping it'd just be one DLC. Shiiiit.....Gotta choose between getting both DLC's or getting one and buying Liars and Cheats for Red Dead.

Get it for L4D2...this way we can play that AND RDR together
