I noticed it, and I RRRRAGED. Not really but uuuuhm....
Valve originally intended for Francis and Zoey to developed a relationship throughout the campaigns, using dialogue and cut scenes, however the original testers found the sexual tension between the two to be too distracting for the game, so a lot of that was cut out. I'll always have a special place for the Zoey / Francis pairing, although I'm sure Louis makes more sense given his younger age....maybe Zoey has a "father complex"

I also know Nick and Rochelle were originally meant to developed something, but this too was cut. However, if you focus on some of Nick's lines to Ro you'll see "leftovers" from this pairing.

I really enjoyed the comic, but it did build me up for a let down on TS. It was good, but after reading the comic, I expected better.
