I haven't tried it yet. But since they got rid of other things in the campaign like the AC shortcut on the first map, and that spot above the stuff next to the door at the NM2 crescendo, it probably is fixed.

I saw abunch of zombies coming from those stairs while I was on the roof....but never bothered to check.

It is one of the worst hiding places in the game. Kids use it to try to beat expert, have to wait about thirty minutes to get killed by a tank and try again. Let them have it.
