GJ on Customs
As you guys probably know, I had posted here a few times on getting more custom maps involved a while back. I just wanted to drop in and say that it seems everyone is making more of an effort to get the custom maps more involved and has been really fun to play over the last couple of weeks

OSX L4D incompatibility
Hi all,
I realise on starting to write this that this thread relates to L4D2, not L4D, but seeing as a Mac version is no doubt coming out for L4D soon, I'll keep writing as it will pertain to both eventually.
I'd like to express my disappointment with the developers for making the OSX client of L4D compatible only with the latest version of OSX, Snow Leopard. This is like saying to a user, you need service pack 3, not 2, to run this game in Windows. Or, you have DirectX 9, but you need 10, and no it's not backwards compatible even by one step. I have never had this experience with a game under Windows.
This just cuts people out of your market, and leaves the customer, me in this case, with a bad taste in my mouth.
How much graphical quality is sacrificed for requiring the Snow Leopard Graphics Update to run the game? Why not just allow users to run it anyway, and let them make the decision about quality?
I hate to be writing such a frustrated message about such a great game.
