The Cons, a quick look at the quick switching rule
I would assume few people who play here regularly have yet to play a fair amount of time with me, or against me. I am going to talk about quick switching. I see no advantage to players on this server to having this rule enforced, I have never heard anyone say, I died because that guy was quick switching. What do I gain as a player for having the admins spend time demo'ing, or specing or generaly spending time enforcing this rule on a server where the awp sees so little play? I gain nothing, I gain when you spend time banning hackers, I gain when you spend time kicking afk's, I gain when you spend time banning/kicking folks who do not want to play this game as a team. I have read the majority of the archived posts about this topic before I started typing this and I see no instance where I can derive an advantage for some joe surfing around for a place to play regularly, I have seen no posts from Big Dog or other moderators where there has been a simple point made that says, this is why this should be enforced. Not one.
OK so what do we loose from having this rule enforced?
- as I said I have played on this server for a good while, and when I came back to CS and logged onto my favorite cs server last week and heard this rule it was as if I heard someone say, "running with your knife out is an exploit because you move faster", this is the response we have been getting from people who come onto TTP for the first time as of late, they say WHAT? are you serious? They will not be logging back on, because they never got a taste of what a great server this is, we nixed there return before they finished there first full map, :8 this is a serious con :8 . To be completely honest I would not stay on a server if that was my first contact with an admin was the enforcing of a rule that deals with game mechanics that IS NOT ILLEGAL IN COMPETITIVE PLAY
-enforceability, as proven in the arched posts about this a good portion of the posts about clarifying this rule were not from new players, they were from people who have years of experience at this game, rules should be simple to understand: no gay tag sprays no aimboting, but hitting Q after shooting a sniper rifle? People I know to be in game admins were asking for clarification!
-a server such as this should be able to improve the skill level of its regulars, quick switching has advantages, it is a habit worth making, and worth keeping if you already have it, those of us lucky enough to have the talent to play in organized competitive events would be at a disadvantage if we were to go into such an environment with out doing as such
In closing (although I want to go on for another couple paragraphs), there is no ROF advantage to this, please change this rule, it is counterproductive and is not the kind of things we should have our admins spending time on moderating.

Re: The Cons, a quick look at the quick switching rule
I believe the belief behind the rule is this "At one point quickswitching did give you the advantage of skipping the reload animation, however that was patched. So anyone currently quickswitching is doing so in an attempt to exploit therefore they are banned...."
Now I don't hold with the rule personally but if the high's of this server have thought this rule out and still want to enforce it i'll live with it, no matter my personal opinions.

Bottom line is this isn't CAL or TWL, or any other server/clan/league. It is TTP property, paid for by TTP, and run by TTP. If other people want to play on a server with their own rules and regs they can feel free to pay the money to run their own server however they choose. If they want to play here they will play by TTP rules regardless of whether they agree with the reasoning behind them.

This has been discussed MANY times, a high might come and weigh in on the situation, but your argument has been made before. Go back and read some old posts
