Thread: css mouse sensitivity

i have a realy sensitive mouse as it is already so i dont have to low of a sensitivy i just wanted to know what the big deal is about low sesitivity. i heard it gives you better accurasyadflhal;fd

every computer.. mouse.. and mousepad is different so its hard to say in general whats best.

When i used a razer diamondback mouse.. i had my sensitivity set much lower than it currently is with my 518. That was because the diamondback was much lighter. To each his own though.....

Basically a lower sensitivity as gr4ve said... means a steadier crosshair because your movements arnt so jerky. That means better accuracy at distance. However at close range with the need to turn suddenly in many cases.. a higher sensitivity works better imo. However as i said.. there are a lot of variables to that.. your comp power/graphics.. your mouse style/brand.. your mousepad surface/style.

yea i use like a three or two but i got a razor which is super sensitive and any hire and my comp will lag lol haha

I use 6.5 and a zoom sensitivity of .77. Sometimes I'll change it to either 7 or 6 depending on how much caffeine Ive had.

my sensitivity is at 9 im used to this because i play a lot of surf maps which require high sensitivity !

yaaa, probably not going to help telling him what your sensitivity is, i just found a balanced one and haven't changed it since, steady enough for a sniper rifle, fast enough for a mac10

thats what zoom_sensitivity_ratio is for

thx for the input guys. i use low sesitivity for turnin around fast but you all got vallid ideas thx again
