But if it ISN'T WORKING time after time, it's time to try something different. There's nothing difficult or complicated about smoking mid and rushing B. Nor is there anything complicated about smoking mid and having a split-B rush.

I've really never had that trouble unless there are some amazing players on the other team. If you try to tell a team of fairly new players or nonregs to rush Mid to B, more often then not you'll wind up getting jammed in the door due to people stopping and be easy pickings.

I'll make a note to go CT against you and buy a para next time we're on Dust.

I have just started to feel comfortable enough to make calls, so I have not usually been the leader. However, if half your team can't comprehend and carry out a simple B rush, or split A rush how can you expect them to go around the world or some other advanced strat? If my team has enough smart players, not even good, just smart enough to follow a call, then I am all for it. However lately it seems like we have too many that go to the opposite site, block you in long a or b tuns, or 3 guys picking mid. During those times you need to just keep it simple.

As for Dust2, I bet if you said you can only play 1 CS:S map for the rest of your life Dust2 would be it for most people.

I agree with everything you just said Civil. To add to that, you have improved so much at CS lately, it is truly impressive. Even those who aren't that "skilled" should try to make calls. Just because some people cannot make those crazy shots like the guys next to them, doesn't mean they shouldn't make some calls. I know there are some interesting strats just urking to come out of some of our back seat teamplayers.

I think you're probably right Civil, regarding Dust2. It's a very well balanced map. Well balanced, sometimes relates to simple strategies, because there just aren't a lot of ways to go. But, that's when ingenious strategies are created. Dust2: A simple long/short call can be spruced up a bit very easily. Majority hit short A, people wait outside of long until short has been taken, then hit long, so if any CT's are waiting in pit or by long in general, more than likely they'll have their backs turned.

I agree with you Civil, sometimes simpler strats yields the best results. Adding a touch on top of it should be easy for our regs to follow.
