Can this be done?
I was wondering if there is some way in css if you can incorporate the commander aspect of battlefield into css. What i mean by this is that at the beginning of the match a vote was held for both teams in which they where to choose a leader (may have to add some time to the 1st round buy timer). There should also be some way you can try and take command of Leader or give the position to some one else (admin should be able to change leader if seen fit). I also think he should have the ability to make appear bold letters (different color as well) out side of the normal team chat (something that would catch your eye). This may not be a new concept in other games, but I believe if there is some way to do for this for CSS TTP for sure would be the one who could make this possible. Thoughts?

Re: Can this be done?
I don't think we've really had that large of a problem with multiple calls being made to address this issue.
Further, if you're playing without sound or if you have music to where you can't hear the call, you either a) shouldn't be playing or b) should be smart enough to follow the pack.
Finally, I know when I join, I can look at the team and have a pretty good guess of who is making the calls. I'll play a round and if there wasn't a call, I'll take over.
Also, I know when I play, as well as many others, if none of my ideas are working, I'll ask the team when we're dead, 'Someone else wanna make the call next round?' and someone will usually step up. Or sometimes it'll be vice-versa and I'll step up for someone.
It ain't broke, no need to fix it IMHO.

Lord only knows when you rush ramp room on de_nuke, you need every T you can round up. If someone goes outside, I can pretty much guarantee regs will be calling them out.

Re: Can this be done?
Its an interesting idea but honestly i don't see it working in CSS. CSS and BF are 2 different types of games and whereas BF is based around a command structure.. CSS isn't built in that way. Even if there was a vote to nominate the captain... i doubt those who normally are not listening or hearing or following calls are going to change their tune just cause there was a "captain" vote. Most of them just want to do their own thing anyway... and besides.. as pineapple said.. you shouldn't be in the server if your not going to follow the rules... lets not make it easier for them to skate by... if they don't follow the rules and calls then they will be removed.

I understand this would be sometimes confusing and hard to do, but can we at least have the rules of the server pop up periodically to save the admin some time from saying the rules to a lawbreaker / help us nonregs when there is no active admin online.

Re: Can this be done?
a reg is usually in the server telling the person to team play anyway, and for the most part people get with the program, the only problem is when there is some jerk who isn't listening, but he doesn't last long, an admin pops up sooner or later and he's gone.
even if you do have messages popping up consistently it's not going to stop a guy who wants to be an idiot, from being an idiot. thats when the ban comes in, and if he cares enough he'll come back and make a post.
but ya, it would be cool if we had like squads and squad leaders like in battlefield, probably be a lot more organized
