Thread: Can't connect to ttp servers!

I just bought ccs last night and my ping for ttp servers is 40-55 at the servers list. But when I try to join any of the ttp servers it joins but then the screen where you have to press ok comes and my ping goes to like around 130 and it just stays there. i can't do anything and it won't let me press ok (it basically hang and i have to exit through task manager). my choke and loss also go kgfj

What are your rates set at? Normally people have them set to 60, 60, 30000(cl_update rate, Cl_cmdrate, rates(in console)) I think that's right. That should help your Choke and Loss. As for ping, a lot of ping issues have to do with where you are in comparison to the servers.
