    Actually, there is a cvar to disable the plugin messages.

    cl_pluginmessages 0

    I think that is it, not entirely sure, but I know for a fact there is one, because I use it for exactly this reason.

    i like to role play and pretend i dont have a radar and just use my killer instincts to sniff out fear and detect increasing pheromone levels...thats how i find joe...and occasionally marley...
