Regular Demoing?
Just thought it might be a good idea to demo myself every time I play on TTP and review it after a map change or whatever. I'm no pro, but I'm looking to improve and after a try I thought this might seriously help. I suggest it to anyone else wanting improvement, also. :9

Re: Regular Demoing?
Good post....I have been struggling with my "skill" for the past year. I would say when I first started playing on TTP(servers was 06) I was generally a lot better than I currently stand. Ive often blamed it on me calling shots or being too concerned with all the variables but it doesn't change the fact that I'm not staying alive as long as I would like thus not helping my team as much as I would like too. Is there anyone willing to review demos of my play and give me a "you suck...period"...or a "you could be good if you did more of X"..
Thanks!

Re: Regular Demoing?
1. Dont listen to Rudy, he still asks me for advice on how to improve.
2. IF you do decide to start taking demos of yourself to get better, its a good idea. Firstly I would talk to Bunni and he could help you set up an automated demoing script and filing system so you do not have to worry about, thanks rabbit.
3. Things to look for in your own demos. Where did you die, how did you die, why did you die. For the where aspect, its a matter of; Did i get picked crossing an open area, did i die in a fire fight and was there something I could have done to prevent that, did i miss a spot where a guy was hiding. For the how aspect; Was I blind, not paying attention, out gunned, spraying and praying, not being careful, etc. And for the Why aspect it is a combination of all of the above.
If you want to get better, follow the rule that I do...For every hour/scrim that you do, take about 2 hours to disect that and see what went good/bad, whats working and how you can get better. Hopefully this will help you, and I look forward to more players on the server getting better so it forces me to get better as well!
