If someone is an asshat whether they QS or not they will be banned.

Since there are valid non-exploitive reasons to QS it in and of itself is not a bannable offense.

If you can prove any of these wrong then you have a valid argument.

That is what I am seeing out of all this, and isn't the actual quickswitching not for the seeing around you, but to completely avoid the reload of a bullet into the chamber so you can fire faster. The switching so you can see around you faster does not even need to be called "QuickSwitching" because it is of a completely different nature.

    More like Quick Seeing.

I have. As I stated, bring me proof that in the current state of the game you get an advantage, then you have a VALID argument. Until then you just have a complaint. If all you have is a complaint I know the admins are tired of hearing it from both sides. Unless there is other evidence to be considered this issue is dead.

I thought the issue was dead awhile ago when we said we weren't going to change it because it use to be an exploit and from the quote from our own CS Rules and Policies, but we all know how that turned out...

I'm really sorry if I sound like an ass or negative Nancy, it is just hard to believe still I suppose that such a change has occurred. I'll get over it though as I'm sure others will too, it is just a shock and a big adjustment considering the nature of the change.

The QS rule itself shouldn't be an issue, the fact that this rule was changed given it's nature is another.

I do see your points though and at this time I cannot counter it, so I'll just have to accept it.

Kraker, you have no idea what you're talking about.... I'm sorry broseff. Quickswitching to gain speed in shooting was only attainable in 1.6. When Source came out, it was patched out and a "reload timer" if you want to call it was added.

Ya, your model might not actually reload the gun, but you can't shoot it until that reload timer has been met. Hence why it is not an exploit anymore.

Bottom line is, it was voted upon and what's done is done. Go play and police the servers.

Guys this thread is not for debate. This thread was created to inform you, the CS:S Community, that Texas...TeamPlayers... will no longer be enforcing the Quickswitch rule. Period.

Exactly. This has been discussed to death. We do not want to hear anything else about this issue.
