Let me preface this thread by saying I always auto choose sides when I join.

What's the deal with regs stacking T side, then talking shit to people who join CT? Then the T's roll the CT's for the first half of the map.

Reg's stacked T side aztec today, and went up 7 to 1.

Just kind of a silly attitude to have, imo.

LOOK AT THOSE PUSSIES ON CT SIDE. Well SOMEONE has to play CT side...

P.S. - I understand that the T side of the map is generally the harder side to play, and this is especially true if the T side has no one making solid calls.

lol zro, but i do feel ya in that situation you shouldnt be messed with cause you on ct. The only map where i automatically hate you no matter what if you join ct and are a reg is DUST.

If T is filled from top to bottom with regs and you join ct cause there was no room i would still hate you the minute the nade spam starts lol. You would be better off at that point disconnecting and i would find that the honorable thing to do then join ct on dust. lol. That map has probably taken years off my life.

Let me say I never auto-choose. I take the offense side almost 100% of the time. I also don't care who takes CT side on any map and you'll never hear me complain about teams being unbalanced, EVER.

The only people I call out are little bitches who always take the easy side, never try to defend the actual site on a rush and just try to get flank kills to pad their stats. I'm not sure who talked smack to you, but there is no need for that, unless that person falls into the category aforementioned above... However didn't you leave after the awp got banned? I can't remember. I do remember the CT's making a decent comeback.

If you feel the teams are unbalanced you can always ask the admin to take a look at them and try and even them up. But I usually try to step up my game and pump up my teammates to do a better job. Try whipping their asses into shape before complaining about teams. Hell I've seen Quicklightening just have an average team skill wise and do a kick ass job because he steps up to be a leader and his team follows.

I understand your point. However for the most part I think teams are kept even skill wise the majority of the time. It's how you utilize your skill to make sound strategies. I've seen a team full of so called "badasses" get rolled on by a decent team because they are too afraid to get there asses rushing to defend a site.

Good leadership is a key requirement. Pure skill alone is not enough. I remember one dust2 game when my score was like 40-20 (this is purely for the arguments sake, not to post a "good" score or w/e). I was T side and was playing pretty decent, not my best but decent. Essentially me and the other top 2 people on my team were doing good and no one else was. We couldn't win a single game. We had 3 good players but not a single call was followed the entire game. Needless to say we were getting our asses handled to us. Then scrum and BIGAG joined our team and started yelling at everyone and we started winning lol I was laughing so hard.

Actually the teams seemed to be pretty even and the map ended with almost even scores. Those comments were directed at the CT's that AWPed/AUTOed once the scores were close and refused to put them down until they were banned. IMO if the scores are close and you have easy side (CT's in this case) you should not AWP unless the other team starts it. As I recall the T's (hard side) never AWPED/AUTOed the entire map....even in retaliation. You even had teammates (AltecX or something like that) bragging how he was laughing cuz it was pisssing us of with the gayness......no honor there man.

Not questioning anyone's integrity, but something I always find amusing is all the people that end up on the non-objective side, then say they autoed. This is funny to me because many times on a new map I will auto, and 90% of the time I am placed on the objective side. The funnier thing is it almost never fails that if I don't join, and just watch the scoreboard while teams fill up, the non-objective side is usually 2 players ahead of the objective side. I guess the auto feature is broken because it sure seems to stack teams based on number, but not necessarily on skill. Just my 2 cents, but I could care less which side you play. Just helps me figure out who is man/woman enough to be a leader and an admin.

No one talked to me, I don't mind smack. I auto'd to T side for the first round, and someone said something in T chat about it. Just got me thinking. I switched to CT side after the first round, when it was apparent that things weren't going to go well for the CTs. Yes, the CTs brought it back a little bit, but it was mostly because T's started slowplaying, coupled with the fact that CTs started getting awps. (I never had the cash)

Just an observation.

Here's my theory. Everyone knows who the older, more recognizable people are on the server. The people that are always going to lead a T team, the hardcore teamplayers. I think a lot of regs look up to those people, and whenever they say something about people joining the easy side, it catches on to the other players on the T side.

Civil - I always auto. If there is a need to switch after, I will. If you ever see me stack a team, feel free to call me out.

As I said, not calling anyone out, especially you. I have played with/against you enough to know your character. There are some that coincidence or not are ALWAYS on the non-objective side, and claim to have autoed. Funnier thing is how quickly they DC when the admin swaps them to the objective side. No need to reply, you know who you are and so do we, but I call you trash. Just one opinion though.

Just for the record...if you are a skilled player, and know it, then you should ** attempt ** to join the objective side. This is, of course, my opinion and you are free to do as you choose. Just dont let me catch you on the non objective score with a kdr of 30 - 3 with the score 20 - 0.
