I had nothing but problems with my Razer Lachesis. It finally went in the trash. I would have to keep unplugging and then replugging the USB connection to get it to be recognized, and the problem with it deciding to spin never really got resolved. Then it just quit working one day. I didn't give up on Razer, though and now I have the Salmosa. I miss being able to adjust the sensitivity on the fly, which is great for guiding tv missiles, but I prefer to use my fingertipss more than my whole hand and this simple little mouse works just fine.

G5 can't go wrong. best gaming mouse for the money imho. I would avoid wireless for gaming unless you buy an upper end one. You get what you pay for with wireless ones and you would hate to be late on that head shot because your wireless is being screwy. I love the weights with my G5 I have fine tooned it for different games and I use the side to side scroll for "g" (pick up/drop kit) and "space" for another way to jump in game if my fingers are too tied up on my game pad.
