i enjoy playing with every reg/res. clan member on TTP (and any cool pubber that floats through!). I just try my best to minimize any emotional or personal investments that i might put into the game. I believe that as soon as you start to "hang your hat" - so to speak - on anything that starts out as a recreational activity then... well, what ever activity you're partaking in (in this case CSS) sort of looses those enjoyable attributes that originally drew you in. I like to keep in fun and light, but i also love engaging play (which is what made me stick to TTP as soon as i found it)!
However, i can see how servers that are home to a more engaging style of play, such as ours, could stir up an air of grumpiness

Go ahead and engage yourself in the game... i encourage that! Just don't forget that we're all here playing this game because we all enjoy it, and you - who ever you may be - should try to enjoy yourself as well! Keep it easy, squeezy 8)

IMO scrimming will help you learn hiding spots, aiming, and I am sure other stuff. But just remember TTP isn't a "scrim" type game play (unless theres a slow play call).
