Normal round buy?

I've noticed many people prefer to buy guns over armor and different nade types. I always buy armor, 2 flashes and a nade. The only difference between them is the gun I buy.

With $2500 I buy a deagle with armor/nade buy above
$3500 an mp5 with armor/nade buy above (i'll go with a galil if i've got 4000)
$4500 an ak or famas with armor/nade buy above
$5500 an m4 with armor/nade buy above

And if i can't even afford option #1, I'll probably just save that round.

You? How do you weigh armor/nades vs. primary weapons. To me, the armor and the nades are more important than the gun. BY FAR. Especially as a T.

I've actually been using the preset buy keys in-game.

#1 - kev, deagle, ak/m4, flashes, nade, smoke (kit for CT, but minus the smoke)
#2 - deagle, kev, nade
#3 - actually set for scrims - kev, deagle, awp, nade
#4 - p90, kev, deagle, nade, flashes

Some times I will just buy kev + m4/ak but for the most part I have been using those presets

I got my buy bounded as well.

F1 for me: ak, vesthelm, deagle, 2 flash, 1 he nade, 1 smoke
F2: awp, deagle, vesthelm, 2 flash, 1 nade, 1 smoke and kit (if im CT or not)
F3: M4, deagle, vesthelm, 2 flash, 1 nade, 1 smoke, kit

these are pretty much my standard buys about 90% of the time.

This depends on the map.

For Ts:
If a shorter range map, I will buy in this order: kevlar, deagle, ak, nade, flash, smoke, other flash.
If I can snipe, substitute ak for a scout.

For CTs:
If shorter range map, same as T, but m4 instead.
If I can snipe, substitute m4 for a scout.

But if I am getting bored or owned, shotty or tmp/mac10.

Does armour even work in css? If I had a dollar for everytime that I have been 1 hit wondered with full armour I would be rich, own a supercomputer, and kick all of your asses :4

Low on money = Deagle + Nade or MP5 + 2 flash
then I just m4/ak the rest of the time, buy a full kit when I can.

I believe that what you buy should depend on what happened the round/s before. Did your team win or lose? Based on this you will have a better idea of what you should do. One of things I notice in TTP servers that I would like to see different is the insta-buys that occur time and time again when on the losing side. TTP has strat callers but no money management. They really should start going hand in hand with each other, at least in the early goings when you can predict how much money the average player on your team has.

CT
When my team has won the previous round:
$2500 - Buy armor, a kit & 2 flashes, HE and smoke. I will ask for a weapon drop from a teammate if I get one great, if not then I will assist my team buy supplying the flashes and nades on any rush that way my teammates can keep their guns out and reload if needed. I will try and use my nades to pick up dropped guns or pick up my teammates gun if possible.
$3500 - Same as above.
$4500 - M4, armor and 2 flashes. If I have more I may buy a HE grenade and/or a kit. Kit is bought last if I know my teammates have them.
$5500 - M4, armor, kit, 2 flashes, HE grenade and smoke.
$10000 - I will offer a weapon drop to one of my teammates a weapon and then buy.

If we lose and my team is buying:
$2500 - 1 flash, 1 HE grenade
$3500 - M4, 2 flashes, if I have slightly more I will buy a HE grenade and/or a kit.
$4500 - M4, armor and 2 flashes. If I have more I may buy a HE grenade and/or a kit. Kit is bought last if I know my teammates have them.
$5500 - M4, armor, kit, 2 flashes, HE grenade and smoke.
$10000 - I will offer a weapon drop to one of my teammates a weapon and then buy.

If we lose and my team is NOT buying:
I will save probably buying some HE and flashes if I have more than $3000. Otherwise I will buy absolutely nothing.

When my team has won the previous round:
$2500 - AK47, if I have a little more I will buy flashes first then a HE grenade.
$3500 - AK47, HE grenade, 2 flashes and a smoke.
$4500 - AK47, armor, HE grenade, 2 flashes and a smoke.
$5500 - Same as above.
$10000 - Offer to drop a teammate a weapon and buy the above.

If we lose and my team is buying:
Same as above.

If we lose and my team is NOT buying:
Less than $3000 I will buy nothing.
$4500 - deagle
Anything more than $6500 I will buy an AK47 and nothing else.

That being said, I will stray from this if I have a gut instinct. Also notice how little I buy a deagle. Even when I have a ton of cash I would rather drop a weapon so that my teammate can be fully armored and naded out.

Those are my gun binds. My Keypad #1 bind is for $16000 starting money, DeathMatch servers.

F3 - buy "ak"
F4 - buy "awp"
F6 - buy "scout"

F - buy "flashbang"
T - buy "hegrenade"
V - buy "defual kit"
SPACE - buy "smokegreande"

my jump is binded to MouseWheelDown and my quickswitch is binded to both Q and MouseWheelUp.

In the Buy Menu, for T:

S - buy "ak; deagle"
D - buy "deagle; 2 flashgangs; nade;
F - buy "awp; deagle; nade"
G - buy "mp5; 2 flashbangs; nade; kev"

for CT:

S - buy "m4; deagle; kit"
D - buy "deagle; 2 flashbangs; nade; kit"
F - buy "awp; deagle; nade"
G - buy "mp5; 2 flashbangs; nade; kit;"

I have Z binded to go to the equipment menu so i can buy kevlar faster.

That's pretty much all my binds.

it's pretty weird to get used to, but it's good for me.
