Worked out pretty nicely, probably was playing at around 3x the sensitivity I usually do but it was still alright.

I've been using this for a couple years and it definately helps (for reasons that Captain Coors explained). Had to do this fix on all my friends computers as well, which they complained about at first, but eventually got used to and they ended up liking it better. Acceleration is just one more reason I hate playing on a 360...
We can do better.

So... Just a little question. For you guys that don't turn off your mouse accel. what is your mouse sensitivity as opposed to those that do take off mouse accel?
Edit: And this question would hopefully refer to a 22' monitor running at 1680x1050 res if that is of any significance on a pretty standard mouse.

Re: Removing mouse accel: tutorial thing (fairly long >.<)
Problem with listing sensitivity by the number is there are lot of factors: mouse DPI (this is a biggy, 4 on a 400 dpi mouse is the same as 2 on an 800), mouse response rate, resolution, even things like OS can make a difference. 180 turn distance on the mouse pad is sometimes used for measuring with those without mouse accel, but WITH mouse accel it's going to be tricky to measure as there are also varying degrees of mouse accel itself! Logitech drivers will give an option for various amounts, but I'm sure other stuff changes it too.
Anyway, glad this is helping people out!
