Thread: Song candidates

Here's links of songs that we think should go on the server. I would appreciate it if the song was cut and ready to go. If you can't cut songs and re-sample them (if you're computer sucks), fair enough.

see.....now you know why your name has more restrictions next to it than mine.

it's just the "texas" intro. It's not about style......it's about memorability.

knowing that not everyone is going to like rap, metal, rock, punk, ska, show tunes (now there's a thought).......

we have to pick something that stands out. Something that makes you sit there and remember it. Something that eventually you'll sing along with.

and you know damn well you sing along to "gonna play in texas, gotta have a fiddle in the band", and probably "come back to texas, it's just not the same since you went away".

And soon enough, you'll sing along to "Let's go to luckenbach texas", and especially "all my exes live in texas".

For songs during the game....I'd agree, we have to get something a little more peppy, such as the tracks we have (or at least most of em), but also the humorous tracks, like "close to you", or smacker's favorite "so lonely".

It can't be all metal all the time. hell, I'll fill the damn thing up with manson and rob zombie tracks.....living dead girl would be great.......but not everyone knows it, and then you've got clowns like hub wanting to get in their southside H-town thug rap, or OD with his old school NWA style, or SJT with his enya CD's.

and he does have em. He'll try to get on here and lie, but I've seen em'.

the motd is html, so if you can generate an entry that will load different mp3's at different times, or on different days, or just randomly, go ahead and post it here as text, and we'll paste it on in there.

if we have to rename the tracks to numbers or letters or whatever you want, you just say so.
