I never implied that Valve did. They are called by whatever admin mod you use that supports the capability.

Even if the vote is reserved for "a ridiculous amount of awps running around" it still does not change the fact that people view them to be unbalanced. Why does it matter if there are a ridiculous amount of awps compared to a ridiculous amount of m4s or ak47s? Nobody ever complains about someone using an m4 or ak.

Bottom line is this: if the awp was not an issue, nobody would talk about it. There are players who see this weapon as an easy mode because of it's ability to kill a player in one shot to the body.

Personally I could care less if players use the awp because this game isn't about raising your personal KPD. It's about winning the round for your team.
