Disruption question...

So if I'm awping, lets say, on the losing side, and someone is crying about the awp and calling me bad and anyone else bad that uses it, is that NOT disruption of server flow? I would think it is, and therefore if someone wont stfu about it after being warned to stop, then they should suffer a ban just as any other person would get for disruption of game/server flow.

Im bringing this up cuz it happens EVERY, SINGLE, TIME, I get on. I even see admins (not speaking in god chat, but speaking as players) doing this and its just downright sad and needs to be handled maturely.

In my opinion, it shouldn't matter whether you're on the winning or losing side. If people have a problem with it they should simply ask for a vote instead of, "OMFG YOU ARE SUCH A NOOB USE A REAL GUN PUSSY!" over and over again...while they're alive.

Or you can keep doing it and someone might just happen to run by and pop you while you're typing.

Disruptive... maybe to some... but it isn't an issue that cannot be taken care of with an admin present.

One guy was bitching at me for awping him mid every round as a CT on d2, I told him to stop being a dipshit and shop rushing strait down mid without smokes, and I then proceeded to awp his ass through the smoke the next round, totally made my day.

Most of the time I just ignore these comments and proceed to make the bitchers a target next round, its great fun! :9

Eh alot of these new "kids" on the server dont understand TTP at ALL, whether it be AWPing on the winning side or just being total shit bags in general.

Their excessive awping on the winning side when its like 20-2 usually gets the awp banned for the team that actually needs it.

Now I've never run a server, but is there a plugin or something that is capable of restricting the awp to the losing side (+/- 2 wins), after lets say the 5th round? That might be something to look into... but of course still have the awp vote in place b/c there will be team hoppers.

And there's always the option of just restricting the maximum number of AWPs per team to 2 or some low number.

But I agree there is too much whining about it... too many bad players not being able to handle it... and maybe too many good players abusing it for a "pub"

I could be on the side that is losing 2-20 and save 4 rounds for an awp... still gets banned..

Same thing happened to me yesterday.

Score was 13-1 so I saved up for an awp to pick mid the next round. After my first shot goes off people started bitching and a vote went up...the CT's weren't even awping...it was literally just me lol.

Its a vote people. How many different threads and times do people have to say the same thing? Even if its 2-20 and the losing team is awping, a vote can go up if its requested by a player or even if the admins feels its necessary. If it gets banned, then guess what? THE SERVER VOTED IT OFF. Its not rocket science.

There is no rule against awping on losing side. Some see it as dishonorable which is why we should be able to vote on it, and i usually try to get anybody on my team to stop awping if we're up. Doesn't always happen but thats their choice. What I would like to see is a way to vote on the awp/auto without having to have an admin on.
