new maps
I just wanted to post my view on the new css maps. I think the new de_Forest map is a blast. Even though it might be big and the bomb sites are far apart, I still believe once everyone memorizes it, there is going to be some fun calls and good games.
I'm not to sure about this new dust2 but it could be fun with a lot of people.
Any other thoughts?
Possibly a 24/7 new map server? idk

Re: new maps
only problem I see with d2 unl with our 10v10 setup is the Ct's get spread pretty F*in thin....I mean, 10v10, that leaves about 3 people per site.
T's can easily rush any direction and should be able to take it....this is also due to the fact that at places like long, the T's have WAYY too many lines of sight to attack the CT's from!
I'm not gonna pass judgement on whether or not I like it until I have more playtime, and the possible strats sink into the regs a bit more. but I'm having trouble seeing how it's gonna work on a 10v10 server like ours...
It's just so big, and theres so much stuff possibly going on, that I don't think 10 people on each side can cover all the points. it's more setup to be a pub map where you can go find your favorite spot and pick people off.

Re: new maps
Actually I think the new stuff favours CT's. Certainly they will be a little more spread out, but the angles and lines of retreat are much easier to work with. Just get a kill or two, fall back, repeat. D2 unlimited is waaay easier. Pllllus the new sniper spots make it so that T's cannot take mid or long against evenly skilled players.
