Re: Pardon our dust (CSS changes)
I can understand your premise on this. And there are quite a few who just auto it anyways. But, I dont think you realize how often the 'easy' side of the map is not stacked, because solid players stack the 'hard' side.. making it the 'easy' side. I think a script that would involve a true distribution of player skill would require way too much work.
If you were going to run a decently fair script on this.. it would be simple in principle and probably a bitch to implement. After 3 minutes anyone speccing would be kicked and the players would be completely shuffled... the map would reset to round 1. After that for 5 rounds no player forced team changes would be allowed. Anyone who joins is auto'ed to the losing team unless they are up by 1 player.
But you have to consider also the word team. Some people join because of the map, but a good majority join because of the team.. that is the people on that side. And some of the best -- and most sportsmenly players will switch themselves when they know things are going raw for the other team.
We do not need to force people to teamplay.. its the very philosophy of the server. You play for everyone, not just for yourself. I have dealt with it in a very specific fashion. No matter what is going on with my team, i stay, unless switched. And do my best to promote more coordination, or in the least -- do what I do best on a map and hope it makes the difference.
I've been on the ass end of a rape stick -- as often as on the business end of a roll.
Sure I have joined the 'easy' side of a map or team a good share. We are all here to team play and have fun. That is what is important. This is not a world of completely fair circumstances and 'Everyone is a Winner'... Carry your weight or learn how to and this issue is completely fucking moot.
My 2c.

And if, by some spawn of hell, the "good players" get stacked on a side, if they are as sportsmanship as they should be, then they will swap after the first round, once the restriction is over. I take it you have auto balance on anyway to prevent people from swapping to the winning side after the restriction is gone too.
