    Nah I did about 3 years of a BS in applied mathematics in College. I decided around than that basing math on emotion is SO much more rewarding. (Look at that infinity... it's got TWO holes in it.. lets get 'er done)

    Which is another reason this format works. Maps (like office) tend to go pretty quick if they aren't competitive. If the CT's really suck, they'll be off in just 10-12 rounds.

    That is actually what I meant. First team to 10 wins (you can always make it more). Maps will usually last around 15 rounds.
    I like manno's idea a lot, but what about an addition to the idea... I was thinking to make blow outs go by quicker, but extend close games, would be to put some sort of mercy rule in. So for example, if a team is winning by x number of rounds, the game will end at 10, or until that x difference in wins is reached after 10. But at the same time there still needs to be an end to those close rounds were the gap x is not closing, so if a team gets y amount of round wins (something in the 15-20 range) then they win no matter what.

    Probably would be hard to implement, but I thought it sounded cool.

    Normally, when I got home from school, the 24/7 server would have a good 10-14 people on it. Now, whenever I look, it seems to be empty. Where are you, o regs, who's distaste for the awp and auto, led you to create numerous forum topics about it? You have your server, catered to your wishes of weapon restrictions. Why aren't y'all on it more?
