yea this has happen to me a few time now and only became a recent problem for me. When my crash stupid visual studio debugger comes up. Either do motd or just let the music play.

    Re: help?

I believe it uses the Internet Explorer engine. Try clearing out your IE cache. Worst case, try resetting the browser back to all defaults.

I'll catch up to the rest of you noobs... in about 3 or 4 more years.

    Re: help?

    Open your cstrike folder.

    Create a new text file.

Make sure you don't have file extensions hidden.
    (see here: http://support.mfm.com/support/std_p...xtensions.html)

Name the text file "textwindow_temp.html" ----so you will be changing the extension from .txt to .html

Once you have done that, right click it, go to Properties, set the file to "Read Only", click Apply, Click Okay.

    Join any TTP server.

You have now bypassed any MOTD on any CS:S server you join.

    You're welcome. :9

Any ideas to fix it other than "DON'T TYPE GOOGLE" ?

I had that on my laptop before.. finally formatted and it fixed it. Duh. :2
