Re: 2v2 Ladder Map Vote
I really don't see what the big problem is. You get to pick which map you want to play! If you dint like a map, then dint pick it. If the opposing team picks a map that your not too fond of, suck it up, play it to the best of your ability, you get to pick the other map, so its fair. If thats too much to ask, I hate to say it but I'm sorry, I dint think this ladder is for you. If you would like to make your own tournament, with your own rules, with your own limitations, and with your own maps, then by all means go for it, I might even participate. I have nothing against anyone, or anyones opinions, we all have our own preferences, and to each his own. I don't mean to come off as an ass, I apologize. But if I listen to everyone, try to make everyone happy, adjust to everyones happiness, this whole thing would be chaotic. I need to draw the line somewhere.
Some more reasons why cs maps make a good 2v2 map: de maps, the CT's either split the two bombsites, making a 2v1 at a bombsite for the Ts. Thus making it an advantage for the Ts. If both CT's were to protect 1 bombsite, the Ts have a 50% chance of entering an open bombsite, again making it a slight advantage for the Ts. For a hostage map, the Ts typically spawn next to the hostages, and defend that one area. The CT's need to utilize flashbangs, teamwork, and just as much strategy to infultrate and execute the objective. Making it more challenging and a different type of situation for the CT's. Being a 2v2 scenario, the Ts still have the upperhand yes, but thats why you swap sides to make it fair. The point I am trying to make is that not all maps are 100% balanced, Hostage or Bomb. But the fact we swap sides at half is what makes it balanced. Just have fun with a different type of tournament. If we did everything the same as cal/cevo then what would be the point of this, we should just all join cal/cevo, or whatever league that hasn't died yet.
Neither vote was a landslide, so as of now all maps will remain. I'll let it ride for a little longer, but until it is a definitive difference I wouldn't count on me changing it. However, I am still completely open to any other advice, tips, help etc.
