    Yes, but when you consider that 1 player can greatly influence the outcome of a round, AND that the winning team gets more money to buy better weapons and armor, there's much more at stake than simply sitting as a spectator for a couple of minutes.

    Hell, just yesterday, I was making calls, and called for a diversion. I had to call out someone on the mic that they should be rushing, he pulled out his nade, and naded 3 of us, to spite me for calling him out. If FF were to be on, our health would have been cut in half, and the likelihood of the bomb getting planted is greatly reduced. You can ban/slay/kick such people, sure, but the damage has already been done and it effects not only the current round, but future rounds as well (again, money).

    this not a reason, weve played have games on TTp where you dont respawn untill the round is over.. and they all had FF on. defending teams will always have a HUGE advantage thats just how it is.

    if you cant get thou a map with out shooting your friendlys then the whole strat is boogus. based on a game mechanic that is turned off.IMHO your not playing css as the devs intended which is what we try to do here, no wepons bans, base rapping etc etc...

    Umm... I can definitely tell friend from foe... as I'm sure the rest of the TTP CS:S population can.

    FF brings more problems than it will solve. I will also bet $1 Million that CS:S has more concentration of asshats and douchebags than ALL of the BF games combined.

    Like when I created the whole CSPromod server.. When I put it online, FF was on as well.. Guess what, the VERY first round.. 2 guys in spawn TK the whole entire team. The CT's also had somebody kill their entire team. FF on is good for small little matches like CAL, CEVO, TWL, etc... but once you get into big matches (like TTP's servers), the whole 10v10 thing doesn't work out well with FF. Just compare the map sizes from BF2 to CS:S. CS:S maps are like 1/4 or hell.. maybe even 1/8 of the size of BF maps. Inside buildings and hallways are much more confined and narrow compared to BF.

    It's not worth it in my eyes. If you think CS:S is drama right now, wait till you turn on FF.

    We have our reasons... We didn't turn it off for the hell of it.

    So instead of giving the asshats that would do this the opertuity to show themselvs we let them play? Pardon me, but fuck that. If the only difference between a teamplayer and a asshat is FF then those people do not belong here anyways. Turn it on weed them out. CSS players have skill, but I have seen plenty of people blindly fire into teammates trying to get a kill. Thats not skill its being a kill whore, and I wish it would stop. If you can't fire over the sholder of your teammate without hitting them, then you need to learn to aim. I rarely hit teammates in game. Even during rushes. It's not how I play. I fire around, I fire above, or I don't fire at all. Because that's the way you do it. When a swat team(wich is what we are in CSS) rushes a room they don't all fire at the same time.

    Round 1-10 - Sweet fun
    Round 11... Guy TK's whole team.
    Round 12... does it again...
    Round 13... Someone TK's him, but only after he killed a few people... he is successfully kicked/banned this round.

    Think about it... this would happen OFTEN... Don't believe me? Look at the banned forums and see how many CS:S threads are in there already.

    And like I said, the people willing to do that should never play here. But instead of weeding them out we wanna let them play cause its easier.

    And FF is on on L4D\L4D2 if you die there odds are you won't come back for 15mins.

    Yea, except it doesn't take 1/2 a second to TK someone... and someone on CS:S can RUIN a game for several rounds before an admin is able to ban them (or possibly just one... depends on how fast the admin can punch keys...)
    in l4d/2 you can just bunny hop around while you initiate a kick vote and get them removed asap... and ontop of that...
    L4d/2 is nearly un-comparable due to the way the server browser is setup... the do not choose TTP, l4d/2 chooses for them.
    And ONTOP of that... L4D/2 games can also be made FRIENDS ONLY... which further removes asshattary...
    Bad example dre, but I see what you mean.
