You have to pick this fucker up once in awhile and use it. It's part of the game for a reason. Shit awp kills count for a 10th of a percent for me. Vafa it counts for a 20th. No shame in the very occasional awp. People will actually be surprised and impressed by it when it comes from someone like you or me. You know I am not saying go for the awp as much as you can.. just consider it a possibility. Maybe scout once in awhile so you are prepared for it.

Its not a matter of choosing to use it or not. It just doesn't suite my playstyle well. I'm more comfortable picking with an ak or m4 than a scout or awp. Besides, if I'm expecting my team to push a site as hard as I want them to, they had better expect me to be as close to the front as possible showing them how its done.

Other than that, I've just never had a situation where I've picked up an awp on the ground, which requires me to not have a primary when this happens (not very common), AND be in a situation where I am more comfortable using the awp/scout over my deagle or another primary nearby. That kind of situation has happened maybe... once or twice since I've been at TTP. Didn't turn out well for me :P

I have 23,245 kills here at TTP, only 18 of which are with the AWP. I have never bought it so I must have picked up 18 random AWP's over the years.

I have 25 kills with awp and 1 kill with auto out of 36,431 total kills

47 out of about 10000 kills with awp. More knife kills than that so I think I'm ok... I don't buy awp, but it's fun to pick one up and countersnipe when some dumbass is trying to be a pimp with it.
